Frequent Urge For Urination. Why?

Good Morning,
For about the last two weeks now I've had the frequent urge to urinate, for the first week maybe every couple hours or so, and for the past couple of days more often than that. Thanks for any insight you can provide,

Hello David,

The symptoms like frequent urge to pass urine suggests towards possibility of Urinary tract infection.

The treatment involves:
1. Drinking lots of water (it dilutes the urine)
2. Antibiotics depending upon culture & sensitivity.
3. Analgesic like paracetamol 500 mg three times in a day can be added to take care of pain and fever (if any).

Investigations like Urine microscopy & culture will be helpful.

So, kindly consult an Urologist & start treatment accordingly.
One more thing...you should avoid acidic foods, carbonated drinks & maintain good hygiene.
There is no need to worry...you will perfectly alright after taking the course of antibiotics.
