Frequent Occurrence Of Redness In Eye, Green Mucus At The Corners, Stringy Grey Mucus Under Eyelids, Using Poly Tears. Cause?

Keeping getting a red eye , my right eye always seems to be bloodshot, and i get green mucus in the corner of my eye and stringy grey mucus under my eyelid sometimes not all the time, my doctor told me its dry eyes but im thinking its not, ive been taking eye drops called Poly- Tears and its done nothing i think i went 3 days without my eye turning red. but i get blood shot eye atleast 3 times a week now and its starting to affect my way of life.

as per discussion you have red eye syndrome .
Eye redness is due to swollen or dilated blood vessels, which cause the surface of the eye to look red
This may result from dry air, too much sun, dust, something in the eye, allergies, infection, or injury.
Eye infection causing redness as well as possible itching, discharge
you shold have antibiotics,antihistaminics ,artificial tears,as well as general precautions like plenty of fluid,avoid irritant, vitamins supplement diet
