Frequent Nose Bleeds, Bad Nose Smell. Any Solution ?
hello Doc. my 10 years old son keeps getting frequent nose bleeds . I am very concerned more about his nose bad smell that would not go away. His primary doctor saw him and she said not to worry . He had this condition since he was 5 years old. What shall I do about his frequent nose bleeds and bad nose smell? Thank you. Mr AAAA

no problem is detected..not worry..
when child grows adult , any nasal discharge present will stop..
and then the foul smell will not be felt..

Thanks for query.
This seems that your son might be having chronic infection in the nose or having sinuses giving rise to bad smell.
Due to chronic infection in the nose there is always congestion in the nasal mucosa giving rise to bleeding tendency.
Put nasal decongestant nasal drops like Otrivin or Nasivion.
Keep nose clean with smoothly removing crust.
Give him vitamin C tablet.
Go for x ray Para Nasal Sinuses ( PNS ) to rule out sinusitis.
