Frequent Migraines, Problems In Vision, Pregnant. What Could Be This?

well i have had migraines on and off for a while now. but sometimes i get symptoms where my vision acts up and it looks like i have looked at a light to long then it is always followed by a headache on the left side of my head. It always last about 10 to 15 minutes then its gone. now that i'm pregnant it happens like once or twice a week. what could that be?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there, thanks for asking. Migraine during pregnancy could be aggravated by some changes that happen during the pregnancy. change in the brain blood flow, change in hormones, changes in the life style and stress, all can cause migraine headaches to happen. You can ask your doctor to give you a medication to abort the headaches while not having any danger for the baby. There are some medication which do not have any significant risk for the baby. I wish you and your baby a good health.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It may not be migraine? / You should see a Neurologist and get examined / MRI may be necessary - it is generally safe in pregnancy...How many months pregnant? You have not stated your personal habits, family history or co-morbidities, even age, Have your been checked?

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
