Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your CT Scan report of PNS shows that
1.There is calcification in left frontal region and this is healed stage. Nothing to worry about this.
2.Your Para nasal sinuses shows changes of chronic sinusitis leading to polyp( mass like) formation.
3.Bilateral involvement of sinus meatus( opening) with changes in mucosa and bones of Para nasal sinuses. Left sphenoid and ethmoid sinus is also involved.

Treatment options are medical and surgery.
Medical management includes steroids, antibiotics and decongestants.
Surgical options is FESS operation.
Get well soon.

Take Care

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I would like to explain your CT scan PNS in simple language.

1. bilateral osteomeatal & left spheno-ethmoidal pattern of muco periosteal disease:
This means there is slight thickening and inflammation in the walls of the oparanasal sinuses (air spaces around the nose) and in the region where these sinuses open into the nasal cavity (osteomeatal complex).

2. sinonasal polysis: There are polyps (fluid filled structures) in the sinuses and nose (complete details not mentioned) but I guess that these are relatively small as size is not mentioned.

Both above findings need to be first treated by medications.

Hope this helps.
