What Can I Do To Reduce Motion Sickness?

For the past month or so I have been getting motion sickness when I wear my glasses, headache everyday, dizziness, and skipped heartbeats all day. I am on metaprolol for a heart arrhythmia which normally works for me but the last month the medication is not working as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

There are many medical conditions that can cause motion sickness.

One of the possible causes can be benign paroxysmal vertigo which is a middle ear issue.

I suggest to use Reglan 10 mg three times a day.

I also suggest to avoid using too much salt in the diet.

If the symptoms continue, I suggest to check an ENT specialist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
