For How Long Does Marijuana Stay In The System?
Good afternoon,
I am writing enquiring whether or not I will pass my cdt test. 2 months ago I was on holiday and had taken marijuana (this was smoked) in a drunken state. Last week I was told to give a urine sample for a CDT. I am fairly confident that I will pass, however I am seeking your knowledge on this. Other than the one time on holiday I have never touched drugs and that was a one off. I am 25 years old, healthy and am very fit and lively. Thank you for your time.

There are several factors that can affect the presence of drug in your system. Weight, body fat, amount of drug used, frequency of use are some of them.
Since these factors are different for everybody, there is no definite guideline to tell you how long you can stay positive in the test.
However, as the frequency of use of marijuana increases, its stay in your system increases. One time users may show positive within 2-5 hrs of use and stay positive for 1-6 days, while heavy pot smokers may show positive till 90 days.
In your circumstances, as you have smoked marijuana only once and that was about 2 months ago, I can say quite surely that it will not show in your urine test.

Literally you are more likely to have problems from marijuana last year than last month.
The tar in marijuana is quite sticky. It eventually accumulates in significant amounts in fat tissues. with loss of fat, this can all fall out at once.
BUT
this requires large amounts of daily use for this accumulation to become enough to later be measurable. You won't get enough accumulation from a few exposures to be detectable except from hair analysis.
One use of marijuana is detectable in urine for 5 to 7 days at most.
