I am 19 years old my height is 5 7 and my weight is 140lbs. Since I recently turned 19 I was taken off the insurance I was on so I would like to know some natural remedies if you could be so kind.

Hi Kathleen,
The symptoms you have mentioned suggests towards Upper Respiratory Infection.
Please take paracatamol for fever and antihistaminic for colld and cough after getting youself examined medically.
You can do warm saline gargles in the meantime. This will help in giving some relief to your sore throat.
You can have ginger tea as italso helps in sore throat.
Drink plenty of pure water.
Thanks.

Hi
Your description is suggestive of probable virus fever ("Flu")
Getting examined is the best option!
You might have heard the local saying, "Treated cold lasts fortnight; untreated for fourteen days" - this implies, there are no specific drugs for most of them... They are often due to viruses and generally the cure is spontaneous.
Take symptomatic measures - like paracetamol for fever; decongestant for nose; lozenges for throat; cough syrup - all are available Over The Counter.
If you have any doubt or if the fever is prolonged, the phlegm has green or yellow colour; breathless and so on- you must see a doctor immediately.
Good luck
