Flu With Pink Eye, Ears Blocked, Popping Sensation In Ear. What Is Wrong?
had the flu along with pink eye - going on for 3 weeks - on antibiotics now, which seemed to have cleared the green discharge - and while i can finally breathe through my nose , both my ears are blocked with liquid - changing head position changes level of mufflling - and swallowinging yawning etc creates pops in ears - coming off a plane and my ears sound like they are completely full of liquid
hi I have gone through your mail and as you said that you were having flu few days back and at that time you were having symptoms like running nose, sore throat, pink eyes etc but now flu had gone but you feel discomfort in ear in the form of heavyness, blocked and popping. In this connection I am telling you that cough, cold and sore throat had blocked your eustachian tube ( tubular connection between throat and ear ) results in negative pressure in middle ear thus one will feel blockade in ear, if this remains untreated results in accumulation of fluid in middle ear which you feel as popping.you are advice to consult E.N.T.doctor for your clinical examination and co-relation with investigations needed to pin point the diagnosis and treatment.Thanks.
