Fibroid. Does High Blood Pressure Cause Fibroids?
Hi....I just had my annual done and she said she felt a fibroid . She is doing a ultrasound or sonigram in 2 weeks to make sure. I was reading upon it and realize that they can cause high blood pressure which I realize my pressure has increase since my last annual from 99 to 125 and I believe that is why...my question is does high pressure cause fibroids?

No , High blood pressure is not related to fibroids.
Neither does fibroid lead to hypertension.Only in some cases of ovarian or adrenal tumors the BP can be seen varying.
I suggest you to get the BP examined on three different occasions without any physical or mental stress and ascertain the presence of High BP.
