Fever, Dosage For Meftal P 100

Dear Doctor, We have given 1 nd 1/2 tablet of Meftal P 100 to our kid of 8yers old weight 33kg, is this dose correct . The fever is high of 104, it is not coming down

The required dose of meftal for your child is 3 tablets of 100 mg meftal tablet. But first you should try giving paracetamol for fever( give 1 tablet of 500mg). Only if fever does not subside with paracetamol you can consider other medicines after consulting a physician.
