Fever, Bronchitis, Bacterial Meningitis, Mouth Burns

My 3 year old have been running a fever for the last 3 days. He is very subjective to catch colds easily that turn right into bronicitis (sp) He was born with bactiral meningitios (sp) Which wipped out his immune system . He fights common colds constantly. He seems to be getting better but now he is complaining with his mouth burning. To the point he wants to cry. His tonsils do not look irrated. What should I do?

Burning in his mouth may be due to presence of ulcers, redness due to inflammation.
Give him Tylenol in prescribed dose for pain relief.
Give him soft diet and plenty of oral liquids.
Consult the doctor for physical examination.
