Femur Crushed In Accident. All Possible Treatments Done For Back Pain. Have Symptoms Of Sacroiliitis. Treatment Procedure?

I have researched Sacroiliitis and have all the symptoms for a new procedure called I-fuse. I have had every procedure for back pain including epidurals, physical therapy, water aerobics, acupuncture, X-Stop inserted(Lumbar 4/5), X-Stop removed, Rhysotomy and finally Spinal fusion (Lumbar 2 thru 5). Original trauma was a 1963 Auto Accident where both femurs were crushed. The Sacroiliac/I-Fuse is not yet covered by insurance but, has a medical code (CPT0334T). Do you know about this procedure? Thanks for your help.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
I fuse is a procedure in which sacro iliac joint is fused so no movement of that joint is possible so it does not produce pain.
The other thing you should try for epideural injection which have helped a lot to many patients.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
