Female, Suffering From Anal Fissure, Going On And Off. Looz Stool Softener Safe To Use?

Hi I am a 22 year old female and have have been suffering from anal fissure for 6 months now. Initially after a month of painful defecation the problem was cured and i had painfree BMs for around 3 months. However, the fissure came back after that. This on and off thing keeps happening since then. I wanted to know if its safe to use Looz stool softener for number of days on a stretch and also if Faktu ointment by Ranbaxy is effective? And i have been taking a healthy diet and regular exercise for a long time now. thanks

Hi,
Anal fissure healing is a problem due to passing hard stool interferes with healing so it takes long time.
Use oral antibiotic medicine after consulting your doctor.
Avoid constipation.
Take plenty of water.
Take more fiber containing food.
Apply antibiotic cream locally.
You can apply Faktu cream.
You can take laxative at night for short time.
If fissure does not heal then consult surgeon for surgical procedure.
Lords method for surgery is very simple and effective.
