Felt going to toilet, didn't go. Feel constipated, bloated, headache, breathless. Due to constipation?

Hi, My boyfriend felt like he needed to go to the toilet last night but was too tired to get out of bed so he didn t. He has woken up this morning feeling really ill. He has tried to go to the toilet but is now constipated and bloated. He also feels very weak and has a headache . He feels sick and is a bit short of breath. Is this just down to constipation? He is a 23 year old male.

thanks for writing to health care magic

its very important to pass stool at natures call and not to postpone it

recurrent postponement would result in ill health

but the problems your friend is having cannot be just explained from single episode of postponement of attending to nature call

may be he is having some other problem associated may be a viral illness

if symptoms persists get examined by a doctor

hope this helps

wish you and your friend good health
