Fell On Palms. Painful When Bending Thumb Forward. Chances Of Broken Scaphoid Bone?

a few days ago I fell forward and landed on the palms of my hands. My right hand is bruised at the fleshy pad of the thumb to the base of the thumb and is painfull only when I actively draw my thumb inward toward the little finger . Could I have broken my scaphoid bone or is it possible I just bruised the thenar muscles?

Hi,
It seems that you might got fracture of scaphoid or first meta carpel.
Go for x-rat right hand and rule out fracture.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
After report and examination he will go for line of treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
