Psychiatrist 's  Response
You may be suffering from depression or an anxiety disorder, or both. These problems typically disrupt sleep as part of their clinical picture, but they are usually quite treatable. Discuss this carefully with your primary care physician. A psychiatric consultation may be in order for you. Also, you may have a primary sleep disorder which can be diagnosed by a sleep study in a sleep lab. Bring these symptoms to your doctor's attention and best of health to you!
