Feeling Tired And Weak. Diagnosed Like A Type Of Influenza. Anything Serious?
I haven't been feeling myself for a while always feeling tired and last night I had a temperature and this morning when I work an headed for a cup of coffee, I felt so wear, cold sweat and my whole body had pin and needles and then I collapse and crawled back to bed. I went to see my doctor and she said I may have a type of influenza and gave me a scrip she took my temperature and it was 38.7.
Can you confirm that it was only a virus. And not something else more serious
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. You were feeling tired and fever was also. Next morning cold sweat with feeling of pins and needles and you collapse i.e.faint. So fever was there which recorded by your doctor. Please get in blood examination for Complete Blood Cells (C B C), ESR ( for any chronic infection),typhoid fever, serum bilirubin to rule out jaundice. Get in blood for sugar as you are feeling so tired. Pin and needles sensation may be related to sugar.
Hope I have answered your query. Good luck. Dr. HET
