Feeling Tightness Or Sharp Pains In Heart

My heart has been feeling tightness or sharp pains in it. It stays for about 30 seconds then goes away. There is also pain in my left arm. I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and they said I had Pericarditis and gave me medicine to take for a week and it didn t really help. The last few days I have had a sore throat but it is getting better. I have been passing gas every now and then but not too much. I also worry a lot about this so my dad told me it may be anxiety. please tell me what this is HELP!!!

Thankyou for the question.Hyperacidity, flatulence and gases can give rise to symptoms .If pericarditis was suspected what were the tests done to confirm? i would suggest an echocardiogram for full assessmentand also Tread mill stress test for pain radiating to arm. you may take Razo-D 20 mg once daily onempty stomach for 5 days. Consult an cardiologist again
