Feeling Of Not Breathing In Enough Air, Taking Deep Breathe Often. History Of Starting To Keep Abdominal Muscles Flexed. Advice

Hello, I dont know how to explain this exactly but lately I always feel like Im not inhaling enough air and every 5-10 seconds I take a very deep breath till I can feel it in my chest so the suffocating feeling goes away for a while but its becoming everyday more of a problem, I belive this is caused because lately I started keeping my abdominal muscles flexed/ tummy sucked in and this interfered with my breathing but I dont really know...Id really like your advice on this, thanks for taking the time to read my problem!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
This usually occurs due to increased stress and anxiety, destressing and regular exercise will help recover.A Pulmonary function test to rule out any potential bronchospasm will be needed, you can discuss the problem with your PCP who may add medication for anxiety.
