Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear patient,

You are suffering from vertigo, which is the sensation of spinning while not moving; there are several causes, one of the most common ones benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, which is a dysfunction of the middle ear apparatus that is more common as we age, and tends to get better with specific physical therapy. Other common causes are inflammation of the middle ear after an infection and side effects from the medications. I encourage you to visit a provider, hopepully an ENT doctor, who can conduct a physical/neurologic exam and determine the specific underlying cause.

Yours truly,

Dr Brenes-Salazar MD
