Feeling Groggy, Tiredness, After Waking Up. Taking Medication. Side Effects?

I am taking Xanax - .05 mg - Extended Release. Take once a day at bedtime. I sleep great but every morning it's hard for me to wake up - I feel groggy and walk around like a zombie most of the day, am very tired, and don't feel like doing anything. Just do what I have to. I also take Lisinopril - could either of these meds be causing my tiredness?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history.

Your symptoms might be due to
- Side effect of alprazolam,
- Symptoms of underlying depression,
- Due to inadequate sleep.

You should consult your psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and treatment.

Meanwhile, you may stop taking alprazolam.

Thanks.
