Fast heart beat, Restlessness, Head pinching, Pain in chest. Can it be anxiety neurosis..or any other disease?

I have the following symptoms which are very irregular. 1. Fast heart beat 2. Restlessness 3. Head pinching 4. Pain in chest I have been in a lot of depression and tension. When I had depression I put on noticeable weight. I cried tremendously, felt like suiciding and thought ways to do the same, could not concentrate on studies. But while in depression I did not had any of the above symptoms. The only thing was that once I was playing a game on computer and then Suddenly I started to faint, everything seemed moving to my eyes. I even had no power to walk a step without my mother s help. This remained for 30 mins then I regained some power. then I was hospitalized where I was infused with glucose . I was okay after that. My depression reduced markedly when I got some new friends in a new place but Still then I had irregular feeling of helplessness, hopelessness regarding my career. Once my parents said something and I felt that my brain wasn t ready to respond to anything like it was numb. I cried like hell and then after that my parents consoled me and I got okay after one day. I have irregular complains of pain in chest, head ache and restlessness, insomnia . But I don t know that its just because of the anxiety because I all these months I have been suffering from P. falciperum malaria and typhoid. I have not take any anti-depressant medicine till now. I laugh and remain in a good state of mind but when it come to career I just surrender...all that hopelessness come back. I have spent 2 years preparing for medical entrance exam all my myself. These days I cannot study at all mainly because of illness and tension of career. This would be my last chance and I feel like if I didn t make it i would turn totally mad. How do I cope with this problem? Please give me some advice.

could it be anxity neurosis as you said, but most of symptoms are in favour of hidden &unchecked diabetes, anyway get done RBS,FBS&HBa1c level, urine sugar at first.bcoz most of time docs donot think of diabetes in early age, however india is becoming capital of diabetes now days.and hyper acidity also presents in the manner you explaned.first let me tell you that you need to over come from hidden underlining cause, psychiatric problemes won't arise without physical cause in most of cases, its my opnion

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Your problem can be anxiety or hysteria. yours does not seem to be any organic problem.Still it is best to get your thyroid hormone levels checked and get an ECG done to rule out nay beat dysfunction.Practicing Yoga will help you a lot.

Hi,
I surprised why your parents did not think to take you to psychiatrist as all are signs of Anxiety depression.Your depression becomes chronic and it will require long treatment.
As early as possible you consult psychiatrist so that immediate treatment is started .
You have not to worried it will be completely alright.Few visits and few counselings with psychologist will give you happiness and new energy to you.
Think positive and leave negative thoughts behind, bright future is waiting for you.
take medicines regularly, medicines will take some time to work but it will change your life

I had some pain in my chest this morning for a short time. No other pain. i belched quite a bit through the day, which is abnormal for me. I felt better after I did this for quite a long period of time. My heart rate is pretty fast tonight. Should I be concerned? I am a woman, age 62.

Hi
My 8 year old daughter has had mood swings which are caused/controlled by diet. We started noticing this when she was only 2yrs. We have found over the years that if we feed her complex carbohydrates little and often then she is 'normal' for her age. When she goes without these foods for a couple of days we have a very tired, tearful and angry child. She is overweight despite having a healthy diet (dietician said diet was good) and regular exercise. GP did routine bloods, glucose, insulin levels and t4 last year, which they said were normal. She is overly sensitive to heat, wears very little clothing most of the time and has to have a fan on her at night, even when it is colder weather. The GP is now saying it could be her hormones. We adore her but she has almost destoyed family life and we are trying to reduce her calorie intake so that she will lose weight but this is causing the moods and hysteria to start. Any advice would be most grateful.
