Fast beating heart at 93 bps

I woke up with what I call a fast beating heart at 93 bps. I had just had a dream before that and also have been on a stomach detox. Does that cause the heart to work harder? My normal resting heart rate is 62 bpm. I am a 30yo male with no health problems other than digestive. When I woke up it felt like my chest on the left side was full of gas and I burped constantly for about an hour. I am taking Zypan, Probiotic 8, and Papaya Enzyme for my digestion. I have not had sugar in 3 days and have changed my diet drastically. Normal blood pressure is 117/65 My LDL is low and my HDL is normal. My Trig. are 101. Just wondering if it is the intense change in diet that is causing this.

Hi!! Welcome to healthcaremagic forum...
Sleep has various stages. One among them is REM - Rapid eye movement stage. Dreams and nightmares are common during this stage of sleep..
Brain activity as recorded by an EEG as well as heart rate varies according to the stage of sleep. And REM sleep is associated with higher heart rate. This is normal body physiology.
This probably explains the fast heart beat. Detox diet as a cause of heart rate increase is unlikely...
Yes, burping and the discomfort are probably due to the detox diet...
Hope it is clear to you now...
Thanks and Regards
