Facial Injury, Swelling, Bruising, Pain Around Cheekbone, Pain On Swallowing. Cause Of Concern?

hi i just smashed my face on the corner of my car door as i was closing it hard. it hurt really bad. i now have swelling , bruising and a lot of pain around my cheekbone right next to my ear. it is hard for me to even drink anything without having severe pain. just wondering if this is something to worry about or will it get better on its own?
