Eyes Irritation For The Child, Redness, White Secretion In Morning. Cure?

Hi! I have a six years old boy and his eyes are irritated since a month ago.
We used the drops for pink eyes for three days and didn't work.
We decided to take him to he the doctor (she said it was viral, not bacterial) then she prescribed another medicine. Since five days ago He's been using three drops a day and its still not working. He has the same redness(ONU in hos left eye) and a bit of a white secretion(only in the morning):/
I feel so bad for him because I really want to make him feel better:(
He use to go to swim class but since this started, he is missing the classes.
What should I do?:(

hi,
cause for the redness is viral as you mentioned that he is missing his swimming classes.He got that from swimming pool itself i think because of that contaminated water.As you are giving him topical treatment since 1month and there is no response you have to look for otitis media and shift your treatment to oral antibiotic therapy.Ask your child whether he is having any discharge from ear and consult your doctor once to make them look the ear of your child.Thank you.
