Eyes burn and hurt due to fever, tiredness and sleep. Is it a disorder?

hello please help i feel very feverish every afternoon. eyes starts burning/hurting. i feel very tired and sleepy. i used to think its because of heavy meals etc. but i ll have these symptoms even when i have less food. its starts by around 2pm. and continues till 5 to 5.30. i go to gym and work out everyday morning at from 8.30am to 9.30am. i never used to feel this way before. kindly advice me what is i suffering from any disease or condition? kindly help as it is affecting my everyday routine... i am scared...!!

Hello Ashish,

It would be very difficult to tell for sure whether there is an underlying problem for your symptoms without a thorough examination. However stress is a very important cause for fatigue and tiredness. Other causes include inadequate sleep ( try to catch some good sleep at night for 7-8 hours), poor nutrition ( a balanced diet should take care of any possible deficiencies), thyroid disorder ( a blood work up would help such as thyroid profile). It is better to consult a physician for the above so that a thorough examination along with investigations is carried out. For burning sensation in the eyes you can try using over the counter lubricating eye drops, 1 drop 4 times a day for 3-4 weeks.
