Eye Injury During Landscaping. Can Something Be Done?
a while ago i used to do landscaping and a lil rock hit my eye and the same day i went to see a doctor and they said that pupil is going to be open all the time and it bothers me alot when the sun hits my face i will like to know if theres something it can be done because i can t see clear on that eye i have glasses but i cant see with them and i have to ware sunglasses all the time sometimes i can see and sometimes i dont

hello..there are chances of pupil persistant dilatation after injury..for that u may use pilocarpine 2% eye drops..only in the morning in the affected eye..the effect of the medicine stays for 8 hours..so if u put in morning then day will pass off..with the effect of medication..and u can avoid glare because of sun..
secondly ..u can use cosmetic contact lenses.. with limited pupil apurture...
thirdly u can use dark photochromatic/photosensor spectacles..

Don't worry . You must have developed an intraocular inflammation , and being treated for it.
One eye drop which you must be using will cause the pupils to dilate, causing discomfort while seeing the sun, but helps the inflammation to regress faster and reduces your pain. Once you stop the drops after your doctors review, you will be alright. Until then sunglasses is the only option.
Please confirm it with your eye specialist and hope you get better soon.
