Hi
Welcome to HCM.
What you are seeing is the accumulation of blood from the injured blood vessels,in the subcutaneous tissue, below the thinnest part of your skin called ecchymosis .

Unless your vision is not affected, and the swelling is not progressing, you can take rest at home with ice cube compresses and elevation helps at home. An OTC anti inflammatory will help you reduce the pain and swelling. It usually takes 10-15 days to recover completely depending on the extent.

If you have vision difficulties with non reducing swelling in 3-4 days, then a direct consultation is a must to rule out intraocular damage and hence managed accordingly.
