Extremely Heavy Menses Flow, Trying To Conceive But Periods Come Earlier Than Expected. What Can Be Done?
First of all Its my period now but its so heavily dripping day and night. Last night it was so heavy that I got up 4 times before morning to clean up and my closet was filled with blood . Yes I have always had heavy flow plus big blood clot but this one is exceptional. Also I have been trying to conceive but the moment I start to use Ovulation calendar the whole calculation changes and I see my period earlier than expected. Please what can I do?
Hi, Firstly, you should get help to arrest this heavy bleeding. Else, it would cause severe anemia with its added complications. Please see a specialist immediately and get styptics and if necessary, hormones to arrest this bleeding. Subsequently, you should get a proper examination and sonogram to look for the cause of the heavy periods. You may also need hormone assays. It is normal to have a fluctuation of 3-5 days in each cycle. Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. Thus a fertile period spans the week of ovulation. You can plan accordingly. Hope this helps.
