General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello & thanks for posting on HCM
Your symptoms classically suggest urinary tract infection & as you are still getting symptoms after completing the course of antibiotics 2 things that need to be checked - any structural abN of urinary tract system ( by doing USS of kidney+ bladder ) & also to make sure by checking urine microscopy if the bugs are resistant to commony used anti biotics.
You must be seen by Dr first & then appropriate investigations need to be carried out. Also if you are pregnant it is very important to traet urinary infections in pregnancy as soon as possible.
Hope that helps

Oncologist, Surgical Dr. Rohan Khandelwal's  Response
Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. Unfortunately the stinging can persist for a few days after the resolution of the infection as well. To avoid this, you should consume increased amounts of fluid.
To be sure that the infection has been treated, you can get a urine routine and culture done. This would be able to give us information about the infection.

Hoping for the best.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Anju Choudhary's  Response
hi there, you need to get a routine and microscopic exam of the urine along with a culture and senstivity. You may be having infection with a new organism or the infecting agent is resistant ato the medication you are taking. Also get an x-ray KUB done to rule out any renal or ureteric stone as the cause for hematuria. In the meanwhile you can take plenty of fluids and syrup citralka to have some symptomatic relief. Take care.
