Extra Growth Between Outer Labia And It Doesn't Hurt

Hi, ever since I was young I ve noticed that I have an extra growth between my outer labia. It looks like a thin (almost cylindrical?), few cm long growth (this is a weird description but it s like the shape of a really small worm) that is right under my clitoris and I believe between the opening of my vagina and urethral opening. I don t think it s ever grown or gotten bigger but I didn t really notice it until I had health class when I was younger and realized it shouldn t be there. It doesn t hurt but it s just like any other part of my body if I pinch or pull at it I can feel it. I m almost 20 years old now and I haven t been to the gynecologist before since I ve been busy but if this is a cause for concern I may want to find a time soon to go. I was wondering if this ever occurs and what I should do about it. Thanks

Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
This can be just a fold of vaginal mucosa. If it is not growing in size then there is nothing to worry.Excision under local aneasthesia is the only way to get rid of it. You can consult a gynaec and get it checked once.
