Explain about Mermaid syndrome

Hello, I have a question about Sirenomelia, alternatively known as Mermaid Syndrome, Is there any genetical diagnosis due pregnancy?? I want to konw about any kind of diagnosis related with this syndrome. thank you

This is Dr Amit. Let me help you in this case. Sirenomelia can very well diagnosed with the help of PRENATAL ULTRASOUND showing signs of 1Fused legs
2 Absence of sacrum
3 Vertebral defects
4 Imperforate anus
5Absence of rectum
6Absence of external genitalia
7Absence of internal genitalia etc. There is no other diagnostic modalities available for it.
