Experiencing Stomach & Abdomen Pain Due To Stomach Upset

Hey Dr. I was driving and I had to go to the bathroom very badly, I just made it home and had a violent bowel movement. My stomach has been upset all day, and I have a sharp pain in my abdomen. Now I am pooping bright red blood. How concerned should I be? Do you think I maybe just tore something?

Hi,

I really appreciate your concern, what the abdomen symptoms you have is indicative of abdomen infection and it could be amoebic infection and it can be managed with Tab Tinidazole 750 mg twice in day for three days and for abdomen pain Tab Dicyclomine with Acetaminophen three times in day or as per needed can be taken.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
