Experiencing Severe Pain 5-8/10 In Bilateral Wrist With Locking Digits
Diagnosed with T5 spinal compression in 1984 due to a M.V.A. Now experiencing moderate to sever pain 5-8/10 in bilaterial wrist with locking digits. Have been dropping item more often. Could the wrist issue be related to the T5 compression fracture from 1984?
The severe pain with locking of the joints can be due to nerve compression or arthritis in the joints. Proper examination is needed to clinch the diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
