Experiencing Salt Like Taste, Roughness And Irritation Of Toungue

What is causing my mouth and tongue to have a rough, irritated feeling and also tastes like salt? All foods have extreme taste of salt. Even lips taste like salt. Had oral thrush about a month ago. Have only had 2 days that mouth and tongue felt normal and so was taste. What could be causing this? It is extremely bothersome!

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM, you said that you like salty dont worry maintain proper oral hygiene by regular brushing use mouthwash chlorhexidine twice daily, and if it continues it can be due to infection also, you go and consult dentist for check up.
