Experiencing muscle strain due to exercise & diagnosed with hypermobility

shoulder injury i have what is called hypermobility in all my joints but its more promident in my shoulers. well ive already had 3 shoulder surgeries on my right to correct the multi directional sublacations. which i also tore my laberem, capsule, and front ligament. now my left arm has always done it also... but recently i was working out lifting weights nothing heavy 5 lbs and two days later it started to hurt when i lifted it 90 degrees and above out to the side. now its unstable and almost completely dislocates when i do. i just want to know how long before i should have a doctor look at it? meaning as if its just muscle strain and will heal on its own and if the pain doesnt stop when should i go to the doctor?

As due to having non-stabilization of the joints doing weight training may lead to small inflammation due to abnormal movements and lead to pain.

I will advise to stop weight training and undergo joint stability exercises which will help to make the joint more stable and avoid injuries.

Unless and until the joints are stabilized it is not advised to undergo weight training as this may damage the joint more.

He had not taken any medications for that. Hello Doctors, I am having a problem now a days. From last few weeks, whenever I sprint while exercising or when I try some different exercise which I normally dont do(a single handed pull up), I end up pulling or tearing my muscles. I have got 4 muscle pulls/tears in last 5 weeks(left leg hamstring, right leg hamstring, right shoulder injury and yesterday an injury on the opposite side of right hamstring) Medical history - I had suffered a 5 day Typhoid last month. when I used to hold my muscles and leave it used to give me a pinching effect. Question - Is this muscle problem an effect of the Typhoid I suffered? (The first injury ie. the left leg hamstring happened a week before being diagnosed as Typhoid.)

Hi I m a 23 year old male, very active at the gym I actually train for powerlifting... Anyways in the past year I have had 3 cases at the gym where I attempted to deadlift a very heavy weight (improperly) I had the most horrible pain shoot through my lower right abdomen, a sort of lump or contusion surfaced that area but subsided in a matter of a minute or so... 1 of the 3 occasions which was recently all I did were toe touch stretch prior to some very heavy squats, and outta nowhere the pain surfaced and left. For the next days after no pain just soreness. Now all I ve been feeling the past weeks are bubbly like sensation from the same area no pain just like a heartbeat type feeling. I ve seena doctor earlier this year for a routine check up told him the problem. He squeezed the area and my testies etc. he stated something of one teatical being weaker then the other or something... My diagnoses is a muscle strain due to the volume and intensity of my squats and deadlifts but I could be wrong I have no pain anywhere or trouble urinating just that bubble feeling n a little tightness. Is this normal or should I be really concerned ?

I am a 26 year old male and I have been getting pain in my neck and shoulder area from my skull to my shoulder blade and all around the top of my shoulder on my right side for about 2 and a half years now. Some days the pain is really bad and I can hardly move my head without severe pain, other days the pain is mild and it is uncomfortable to move my head. I have some kind of pain everyday from mild to severe and it hurts more when I move my head, for example, it hurts more when I move my right ear towards my right shoulder or if I turn my head to look in a certain direction. I can t see any pattern as to when the pain is more severe, it isn t worse after a particular activity or time of day. For example, yesterday the pain was mild and uncomfortable, today it was mild in the morning and has become moderate thoughout the day, these 2 days are my days off and I have not done anything strenuous. Sometimes if I massage my neck and shoulder area I can feel something move and make a dull clonking noise, this helps dull the pain slightly for a short period of time before going back to how it was before. I have had an X-Ray and an MRI scan. The doctor claimed that they could only see general wear and tear with very minor disk protrusion. My first physiotherapist gave my some neck stretches to do and I have been doing them for about 1 year or more. The second more recent physiotherapist has told me there is nothing wrong with me and that the pain is something my brain had made up. Although they also said that my trapeze muscle is tight and harder on my right side. They have given me some stretches to do and have told me to stop imagining that I am in pain and to think positively . There are only two things that i remember happening to my head and neck area in the past. I once slipped a disk in my neck, but this was about 12 years ago, the second is about 2 and a half to 3 years ago a well build man fell onto my head and shoulder area from a height and jolted my shoulder and crushed my neck. Can someone please help me? What could it be? What should I tell my doctor? The pain is very real.

Over the last 7-8 years I had recurring chest pain . A series of tests were done including ECGs, stress test, halter test, Percentine perfusion test and CT scan andin late 2011 my cardiologist concluded that the symptoms were not heart related. Over the last two months my symptoms have returned: chest pain radiating into left arm, left side rib cage, chronic headache, sometime severe usually pressure in the ears and around them. Usually I wake up very early in the morning with chest pain, sometime palpitations and headache. Today I had a severe attack of headache as if my head is in a vice. It continues. I suffer from Acid reflux, somewhat hi blood pressure ( highest readinfg 139/ 78; average of last 11 readings 128/72) hi cholesterol, hypo thyroid (TSH up to 21.8). I am on Nexium 40mg, Metoprolol 50mg, Lipitor 20mg and El Troxin 0.075. My Endicronologist is trying to calibrate the Eltroxin dose. He thinks my symptoms are not Thyroid related. I have been trying to get an appointment with my GP since june 25. She is on holiday and the earliest appointment I got is August 17. My symptoms -- chest pain, headache, radiating pain in shoulder blade, sometimes left ribs, pressure in the eyes, ears continue and I think progressively getting worse. I was treated for prostate 8 years ago, monitored annually the PSA has been much below zero, negligible sometime difficult to trace. Sorry for such a complicated story. I do not know what to do. Should I go to the emergency everyday???? Will appreciate any suggestions
