Experiencing Heaviness In Chest, Wheezing And Gurgly Feeling. Could This Be Viral Pneumonia?
Have had flu like symptoms for almost a month off and on. Dr said I had low grade fever and squeaky breathing and put me on antibiotics and prednisone. After 3 days still not getting better. Have heaviness in chest, gurgly feeling sometimes. And still wheezing. Could this be viral pneumonia

In your case clinical examination sholud be done. Do not see the reason of starting prednisolone. With auscultation chest finding can be noted. Temperature can be recorded. Routine blood test can be done and now if required x-ray chest can be taken. Now after analyzing all the result a proper anti biotic may be given if required.
