Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello, i would want to let you know that smoking marijuana frequently is known to affect the brain in the form of sleepiness, dizziness, having short term memory loss and a prolonged sense of euphoria (feeling good).
A heavy intake exposes your body to a prolonged effect that causes disturbances in thinking process and perceiving objects, making them appear brighter, sound louder and feel stronger than they are. Also, it affects your mood and behavior, making you feel relaxed and dis-inhibited.
In your case, it seems like the headaches are a part of the effect of marijuana on your brain, whether due to intoxication after heavy intake or a withdrawal after stopping intake.
If you are feeling stressed for any other reason or having symptoms of breathlessness, racing heartbeat, sweating, tremors or fidgety-ness or constant worrying, then we may think of anxiety as a factor.

I hope this answers your question. In case you have any more doubts, feel free to share here.

Psychiatrist Dr. Suneetha K S's  Response
We understand your concern.

Smoking marijuana is harmful to health.Marijuana contains cannabis which is the active ingredient. It leads to dilatation of cranial vessels. Which could be the reason why you are experiencing headache. Stopping marijuana is the best solution. If you continue to have symptoms even after stopping, then you will need a detailed evaluation. You can consult a neurologist for it who might ask you for a CT brain after examining you.

Hope the answer has helped you.
We wish you a speedy recovery.
