Even After A Abortion Why My Pregnancy Test Is Showing Positive ?
I had a surgical abortion 4 weeks ago and i am testing positive on a pregnancy test. Would there still be hormones left in my body to make me test positive or could this be a new pregnancy

welcome to healthcaremagic.com.Pregnancy test depends on which stage you had abortion,if you had it in 10-12 weeks it takes a little longer -6-8 weeks for hcg to drop to zero,You could do a B hcg titres to differentiate previous pregnancy from a fresh one.Since in a viable pregnancy the titres typically double every 24-48 hours.
