Enlarged Tonsils, Fever, Chills, Fever. Done Salt Water Gargles, Used Cholorseptic But In Vain. What Can Be Done?
Hello, my 8month old has rsv and we have been in the hospital for treatment. Now 5 days. Yesterday I had a slight sore throat and today I have both tonsils enlarged. I also had fever last night. Was sweating and then was shivering . I gargles salt water, put cholorseptic, and nothing seems to ease my pain or the swallowing . I dot have health insurance what can I do?

Hello,
It may look like you have tonsillitis i.e.infection of tonsills.Thats why you are facing such problem.This can be treated very well using medicines.Apart from gargling salt water you should take some antibiotics along with like amoxicillin clavulanic acid to treat infection.Take 625 mg twice a day for 5 days.
