Effusion In The Left Knee. Done With Synovial Fluid And Rheumatoid Factor Test. Having Low Grade Fevers, Chills, Fatigue. Hoshimotos Autoimmune Disease?
I have major knee infusion undiagnosed condition. Synovial fluid testing shows 0000 white blood cell count. A rheumatoid factor test shows 14.5. I was previously tested October 2012 with a 10 result for RA factor. I have hypothyroidism and was increased to 75 mcg when I went to the first doc appt for knee swelling and pain. I can barely walk. The effusion is in left knee only. Daily low grade fevers and chills, with fatigue Can this be hoshimotos autoimmune disease.
I understand your concern. However, to know if you have Hashimoto's autoimmune disease you may have to consult a doctor who will prescribe the right investigations to you. I think that you will also benefit from taking antibiotics since your white blood cell count indicates that it is more likely to be an infectious arthritis than a rheumatoid arthritis. I hope you consult a doctor regarding the medications for this condition. I hope this helps relieve you anxiety about your condition.
Take care and have a lovely day!
