Edema, Swelling After Giving Fluid. Safe To Travel?

My child has edema due to a carer giving them too much fluid on Saturday. They cannot walk so although we managed to reduce the swelling over night, by the evening they have swollen again. We are due to take a 12hr flight on Thursday, would it be safe to travel with swelling?
