Eczema everywhere

Hello, I am 13 and have had eczema pretty much since I was 6months. I have it on my face, chest, back, neck, legs, genitals and arms. On my face it doesn't tend to ever be itchy on my nose chin or ears, and those parts are my normal skin colour, light brown. The rest of my face is extremely dark brown, and I am itchy there so often. I use aveeno cream, but it only really moisturises, doesn't really do anything. Me and my mum have been to doctors, dermatologists, they haven't helped at all. They just prescribe creams and steroids which make things worse. I might also add I have hayfever, and eczema runs through the family, but no-one as severe as mine. I fear I'm going to have eczema my entire life. My self esteem is extremely low, I am self conscious where ever I go, school or whatever. My face is discoloured like I mentioned and perhaps scary. I really just want to be normal, and live a normal life. Please help.

Welcome to HCM

Eczyma is a layman term it is called Dermatitis in Medical terms and of course fruits do help in Eczyma as it is usually due to Allergic conditions which causes inflammation to skin , fruits are rich in anti-oxidant and flavoinds which are good to reduce oxidative damage and inflammation

fruits with bright colours will be more helpful , Tomatto is rich source of Lycopene , Known For it's Anti-cancer properties and inflammation

Along with this you can try these herbs - like curcuma longa, Berberia aristata , Rubia cardifolia to alleviate allergy reduce inflammation of skin and check the growth of bacteria , fungus , and viruses as well

use oil of Pongamia pinnata commonly called Karanja Taila and apply it on affected part locally
use Sarivadhyasav 4 tsf BD with equal Amount of water pc

General & Family Physician Dr. Radhika Thyagaraju's  Response
eczema is mainly due to the release of various substances from your body causing inflammation and dermatitis
you need to find the cause for it.
sometimes some foods like fish etc can trigger an allergic reaction or it may also be due to certain ornaments you are using or due to the cream or deo etc.
find the cause.
prevention is always better than cure
