Ears blocked, dizziness, vomiting. Prescribed Sudafed. Diagnosed with positional vertigo

I seem to be getting vertiago more frequently. It happens when my ears seem blocked & then suddenly I get dizzy, to the point where I throw-up. My doc suggested taking Sudafed when my ears are blocked. Sometimes it helps & sometimes it doesn t. She has diagnosed me with positional vertiago. I also have high blood pressure & am on Atenlol. I am 64 yrs. old. When my ears get blocked I also hear a humming sound. These attacks last at least 5 hrs. until I feel better.
