ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
your malady seems to be an acute infection of the tonsil.
Your earache is referred pain resulting from acute tonsillitis.
Lymph glands in the neck get enlarged due to infection of tonsil; the two contribute to neck pain.
But don't you worry, it is not a dangerous condition.
Start warm saline gargle.
Avoid cold foods.
Take easily palatable soft diet.
Take a cough linctus.
Get a total and differential count of blood, ESR and an ASO Titre done.
Take the reports to an ENT Specialist and take his/her expert advice.
Take care.
