Duration For Swelling To Come Down After Adult Circumcision?

adult circumcision on February 7th swelling the size of my fist ice to that first compression bandage came off less than 24 hours now just put petroleum to protect it seems to be a hematoma at the half the size of my hand very red and sore now seems to take a while to go down what should I look for as emergency signs and how long will it take to go down

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of circumcision and have nticed haematoma at the site of surgery.

This haematoma is likely to b due to active bleeding from one of the vessels of Dorsal Veins of Penis and unlikely to stop spontaneously .It needs to be ligated immediately.

Please go to ER and get haematoma drained out and ligate the bleeding vein.
