Dull pain in lower right abdomen, popping sound on stretching. Pulled muscle or something more serious?

About 5 weeks ago after a night of bowling, I started feeling a dull pain in my lower right abdomen . It only bothered me when I was bowling. However, yesterday morning as I was waking up and stretching , I felt a pop. Now, it aches to do almost anything but sit and lie down. At first, I thought I had just pulled a muscle, but now I am thinking it is something more. What could this be?

Thanks for writing to us
The symptoms you have described are more likely to be symptoms of muscles strain or pull
To get relief from the pain and for quick healing:
1. Do hot fomatation at the site to relax the muscle.
2. Apply local anti-inflammatory gel 2-3 times a day.
3. Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to reduce pain and local swelling or inflammation.
4. Do not lift weight or try to do exercise that involve painful muscles. Give proper time for the injury to heal.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
