Hi Nalini, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
skin color is determined by multiple factors few of which are hereditary and few r environmental.
Sun exposure , environmental pollution, use of OTC creams can further damage the skin .
TAKE CITROUS fruits containing vit C .
take good nutrition.
can apply a cream containing kojic acid at night time .
can consult a good dermatologist who will tell you about chemical peels and other treatment options.

Hi Nalini, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Kindly consider this, Some women are born with fair complexions, while others are born with darker or wheatish complexion of skin and there is nothing wrong with these.
I would suggest, you visit a Dermatologist so that he can examine you and suggest few creams, in the mean time you can also try some Home remedies. For Example, you can mix together a tablespoon of honey, almond oil may be around half spoon, and about a tablespoon of lemon. Apply this on your face and leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water at Room temperature. You can also use Sunban Lotion whenever you move out in sun, apply it 15 mins before you leave home. Always use a Unmbrella when you go out in sun, try avoiding Sunlight between 10am to 4 pm.

Wish you Good Health, Take Care.
