Managing dry eye
is based upon the severity of it. Get a ophthalmologist consultation who will assess your level of dryness and treat you ,not only with lubricant eye drops and gels, but also other newer drugs like topical cyclosporine
eyedrops and oral Omega3 supplements for a period of 3-6 mths.
Meantime make some lifestyle changes like avoid sitting directly under an AC, taking frequent breaks if you are a computer user etc.....
If these are not helping you much, there are procedure like punctual plug insertion, which might help you retain the tears produced.
So get an appointment and get yourself assessed rather than buying milder forms of OTC drops and gels. Hope you get relief soon. Take care :).
